Adjust sound

Mute or unmute the microphone

You can mute the microphone so that the caller cannot hear you

or any sounds on your side of the line.

1. During a conversation, press to select Option.

2. Press to highlight Mute or Unmute, and then select OK.

appears on the display when the microphone is muted.

Put a call on hold

You can place a caller on hold temporarily, and then return to the

caller.

1. During a conversation, press to select Option.

2. Press to highlight Hold or Unhold, and then select OK.

Free your hands

You can turn on the phone’s speaker and place the phone on a

surface to speak and listen hands-free. This feature is only avail-

able while a call is connected.

Place the phone in a location away from your ear before

you turn on the speaker, and keep the phone away from

your ear while the speaker is on.

1. While the phone is away from your ear, press to

select Spk On.

To turn off the speaker and return to holding the phone,

press to select Spk Off.
